The horrific incident of reportedly drugging, torturing and using monkeys for entertainment at a night club in Kolkata i.e. Toy Room Kolkata has disturbed all of us.😢

FIR no. 97/2023 has been registered by Shakespeare Sarani PS based on the complaint of the Forest Range Officer, Kolkata. PETA India had also fired off a complaint to the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata requesting action against those involved and rescue of the three monkeys.

Thank you, to all of you who spoke up for the monkeys.🙏
We are happy to announce that all three monkeys have been seized by the police, handed over to the forest department and are currently housed at the department's Salt Lake recovery centre before they are released in the wild/rehabilitated.

A 15-year-old girl Anuradha was gang-raped by Mohammed Kaif Ansari and Mohammed Aashiq Ansari in Giridih, Jharkhand.

The perpetrators later threw the girl alive into a well in an attempt to escape from the crime.

The girl was rescued from the well after some time, but by then it was too late as when rescued, the girl's legs were not working and she lost her life on the way to the nearest hospital.
