@nbatopshot@roham Top Shot challenges like the wheel should include serial number ranges as well. Top 10%, 25%, 50% etc. This would create new buying patterns. Maybe you need a common S3 but it has to be top 50% of serial numbers issued. Not every challenge , but some.
@sports_web3@roham We have an alpha product https://t.co/cZqyYt0ZWt that is @nbatopshot advanced portfolio manager. Need to build out our challenges to show exact $ to complete based on moments you already own, among other new features. Our founder is a top 1% NBA TS collector
@StephSutto This queue couldn’t have been organized in a worst way if a monkey organized it. If it was just a money grab by @nbatopshot then save us the trouble and let the first guy buy all the packs. Having to monitor the queue for hours is ridiculous.
The stuff NBA Top Shot does on a regular basis is headscratching. Like if you have 65k+ people in a queue for 225k packs, why let people buy 10 packs? It seems to go against their stated goal of making it easy for people to get packs.
Amazing to see what happens to @nbatopshot moment sales when cards are part of a challenge. Pre-challenge these were priced below $50 for the set of them. Now $224. @DFS_Almanac
2. Drops may be less fun for collectors because free 💰 is fun. Sure, but collectors are playing a losing game, even though they occasionally get a 5x on packs.
If you held moments over the last 2 months, you are down 50%+, if you *only* flipped packs, you are 📈📈

Interesting @AhmadMonk graph of his @nbatopshot moment. Low price has dropped and remained constant but median price is rising quickly. Undervalued min price?
