This is a great video from @realLauraFryer. It's about a problem that not only exists in video games but boardgames. When players question decisions about design or themes, it's not because they are hateful. It's because they care. When gamers stop talking about your game, you've lost.

Thunderstone is still one of my favorite deck builders. I love the game play and the theme

Deckbuilders are basically TCG's in a box with a limited card pool. When Donald X put out Dominion in 2008, I realized this and did several quick deckbuilders. Thunderstone was the third deckbuilder in the market.

Evenglow from @TheOpGames is a nice twist on tile placement games where two tiles are placed each turn but their positions must mirror each other on the board
