Many thanks to everyone who continues to purchase the e3k mod kit. 🥹I’m updating the e3k mod with minimal design changes—the main focus is on improving the click feel. e3k supporters will receive the files for free. Thanks!
They'll never understand that hands-on effort, even if it results in crap, leads to progress through persistence. Their environment has made them cold, selfish, efficiency-obsessed monsters who only care about outcomes, not the process.🤷♂️
This is just the tip of the iceberg. For all mouse mod creators, whether you open-source or sell your model files, they may be stolen and end up on Goofish. The cost to completely prevent this is too high. I'll post a warning on Goofish to alert buyers—that's all I can do
For those of you who are into mouse modding, would you rather buy the files and 3D print them yourself (FDM), get an SLS-printed mod kit to assemble, or just go for a ready-to-use finished product?
10.5g, carbon rod reinforced. Wheel scroll/press feel poor; 30% shrink too cramped; larger size would improve structure. Tired, no more optimizations. Open-sourcing F3D/STP files later. No assistance
But thinner walls mean weaker layer bonding, and supports for complex curves are a pain to remove. Maybe I should just buy a desktop SLS or LCD printer
These shells are printed in PA12, PA6-CF, and PC-like engineering resins. The reflective shells use AMT-treated PA12-CF/PA6-CF, currently the best option. I need more time to test the Mini M3K and E3K Pro, as I designed them too thin/slim.
