@DarejanW@SpaceNews_Inc The Karens, the Bolsheviks, the megalomaniacs, the grifters and the parasites can be reliably counted upon to always insist that they get to drive even though the car is not theirs and they are not even contributing any money for gas.
No thanks.
The PRC will be doing well to get even a small presence onto the Moon before it collapses. It won't last long enough to get anyone to Mars. In "coming decades," the Chinese population will continue its rapid slide toward complete extinction. As Mark Steyn says, the future belongs to those who show up for it. China will be a no-show.
No need to imagine. The answer is nothing much. Starship propellants are non-toxic, the leftover prop all burned off quickly after the landing and the ship is mostly just metal. The most chemically active stuff on a Starship are lithium-ion battery packs that run the engine thrust vector actuators and the flaps. And there is lithium in seawater anyway.
@SunSherman@elonmusk If you're worried about marine life you might far more reasonably address your concerns to the rapacious and piratical PRC fishing fleet.
