I have a serious question. We talk about the Benedictine Option, orthodox community, creating parallel economies and tight knit Orthodox communities.

What if you had a chance to build an Orthodox town? There is a town where the church was founded by St Tikon and once was a small town filled with orthodox. Like many small towns it’s getting old and dying but what if a group of very serious orthodox people began to move into the area and rebuild and orthodox city?

Calahan Colorado could be such a town. The houses out there are expensive but many of them come with 30 acre lots.

Orthodox families could pool resources, move to the area and being to rebuild the city. It’s close to Colorado Springs. It is viable. How many of you, if someone began this project, was Investing in property and had a clear vision would move to this area to create a larger orthodox community?
