An act of flagrant aggression no doubt carried out by the OUN-Azov battalion. The West MUST cut off all military aid to Ukraine and demand they negotiate a peace deal to preserve the current status quote. Maybe give Irpin back to Russia as a token of good faith.
Yes, Russian military forces did cross the Ukraine's borders. Some high-explosive and kinetic unpleasantness has occurred. But as we see here, Russia's government believes they are the ones being threatened. So it's impossible to say who's right or wrong.
Dangerous escalation, Mr. President! And so soon after that comment about Putin not remaining in power. I ran into my nuclear bunker as soon as I heard that!
This morning, I spoke with President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Prime Minister Mario Draghi, and Prime Minister Boris Johnson. We affirmed our determination to continue raising costs on Russia, as well as to continue supplying Ukraine with assistance.
People have been asking about me. I'm alright. Doing fine. Having a normal one. It's just that Putin's decisive victories in Ukraine are a little overwhelming. The Special Military Operation has truly gone according to plan and it takes your breath away.
That's not to say I support what Russia is doing in Ukraine, even if it's entirely justified by NATO expansion and the out-of-control Ukrainian far-right and their persecution of Russian speakers. It's just that things aren't so black and white.
Please, everyone, rest assured, IR realism is truth. It works. Even when it looks like it's not, it does. Do not doubt. Do not question. Concede to Russia and all will be well. Be a good boy, Dick. Remember to be a good boy.
When have we seen such support for fanatical nationalism, in the United States? Are they going to replace the head with that of Stepan Bandera now? A dark time for my country.
I think I need a break from posting. Lot of things going on at the moment. Getting disturbing news about sanctions. I need to contact my bank. I have to warn my colleagues like Samuel Charap too.
I'm sorry I'm not sure what the West's game is here. This is all, very confusing, very disturbing. This Russophobic information warfare has hit a new low. I can only hope Putin has the restraint to hold his army back in Russia and not invade the Ukraine for real.
I apologize for the gap in my posting. I had an accident with my coffee and had to replace my keyboard. The situation is very confused. If this is the West's new information warfare campaign against Russia it's well-polished and produced, however mendacious it may be.
We're supposed to believe that Russia would invade, somehow NOT achieve total air superiority within hours, AND, somehow the Ukrainians would have both cell networks AND internet so they could upload all these videos of "Russian POWs" and "abandoned Russian vehicles?" Come on!
Anyway, I'll continue tweeting about this later, but you must understand I've been out of the loop for a few months and I need to catch up on the news. I'm just going to head over to CNN's page just as I take a big, long sip of my coffee...
Hello everyone! I'm sorry I've been silent for so long. I went into my nuclear bunker last December and I've been totally cut off from the news. I wanted to write a thread to continue explaining Russia's totally peaceful military exercises around the borders of Ukraine.
These are merely exercises to demonstrate to the West why it's so important for them to sit down at the table and fulfill all of Russia's security demands, even if they don't sound entirely "fair" or "reasonable" to our ears.
