Read the whole passage, brother. You’re twisting scripture for the sake of your claim.

@DavidDzimianski @GregoryGay17 If you read it literally (that verse alone and not contextually) then sure. If you read it in the context of verses 7-9 (the Reason, expansion, contrast, and finally reason of Paul’s argument) then you would see verse 10 is the effect of what Paul has argued.

@DavidDzimianski @GregoryGay17 It’s more accurate to put emphasis on what Paul is actually getting at— coverings, which he defines as “a symbol of authority on her head” (1 Cor. 11:10). Paul says it is right according to nature as well as the creation account. Male headship then is not under attack.
