At our recent drop-in were these payslips (1968), on loan to us from Caroline. Her father worked at the Didcot Dairy for over 25 years. Another visitor, Liz, who worked in payroll at the Dairy informed us that this is her handwriting! Lovely full circle moment 🥰 #Heritagechat

Didcot Dairy was also owned by Dairy Express. This 1984 newspaper clipping celebrates local Dairy hero, Bertie Stevans. The milk float was built in Didcot and used for Easter celebrations. Our Easter event info is coming soon! 👀

THEY’RE HERE! 🐂 🎉

Our herd of 135 oxen – large and small – were delivered to @oxford_brookes University Harcourt Hill Campus, with the support of 30 Squadron’s ‘Flat-Out’ team from the @RAFBrizeNorton!
