A lot of people are not worth keeping around anyway so if humility makes you think you can disrespect me, then you have no idea who you’re dealing with. My thing isn’t even humility. I just do not care
Unnecessary humility will make people see you as a weak and incompetent person. It’s much better they call you arrogant, proud or abnormal. That way, they can’t exploit you in any form. The latter tags scares predators away.
You meet someone who does or says something to you and you subconsciously absorb that. Weeks or months later, you do (say) what they did (said) to someone else and that could be when you have an epiphany and stop or you just call it normal and continue.
Talking to people who don’t know the difference between a job and a gig will have you calling a gig a job. This tweet is about the difference between the words “job” and “gig” but is also about our general association with people.
Giving people grace is my bag especially if you have redeeming qualities. Mistakes are mistakes but repeated occurrences are not mistakes. Anyway I’m grateful that I don’t have too many people who are always making mistakes near me.
Whatever helps you feel better about your life, please do and say it. You may look crazy cause you’re coping real hard but we will still root for you 🥰
If anything, yesterday reminded me that God is a way maker. Not just for me, but for everyone (even those who do not believe in him). Never stop trying!
The one thing God cooked with? Earth’s population. There’s always someone to give you a chance. It may not be me(still enroute), it may not be who you thought but there’s always someone. May your luck find you on the days you weren’t expecting 🫶🏽
i want to be someone who brings a nice little gift when i am invited to someone’s house. not just wine, what’s a good gender neutral host gift? i want to stock up.
I love those moments when you realize that somebody genuinely likes you–and not because you're useful or impressive or connected to something they want. They just think you're funny, enjoy your company, and want you around. Beautiful stuff.
