The Maroon U14s had a great game at Home to Hazel Grove.

An intense match played at a high tempo and a very high standard had all parents and coaches on the edge of their seats.

Didsbury took a lead in the second half before HG equalised late. A great advert for U14 Football!

The U14 golds invited champions elect Hayfield to Fog Lane last Sunday morning.

In an extremely close game, Didsbury fell short in the last minutes and couldn't quite pull off the comeback. Losing 2-1 on the day but a great match for the coaches, players and fans!

The U14 maroons used their week off well to arrange a friendly against Cheadle and Gatley from the EJMFL.

An end to end game in which both teams played some electric football. Phoenix scored late to win 3-2 but credit to Cheadle for a fantastic game!

MOTM went to Lochlann.

The U14 Golds played a great game this morning vs Inter Cheadle. A fantastic and competitive game played in great spirit.

Inter Cheadle pulled off the comeback on the day, but both teams have learnt a lot in a brilliant morning of football.

The team started fast against a good Benchill side, A great goal by Ted saw a moment of brilliance in the game. It was a difficult test but the team worked very hard.

MOTM went to Ishaan for a great goalkeeping performance!

Gold U14s Report
Good performance and a really strong win against Poynton in division 3. The team looks solid defensively and are only minutes away from keeping a clean sheet.

MOTM went to Rahul for great goalkeeping in the first half and two goals in the second half!

U10s Maroons played a high level match today. They won their 50/50 battles and created lots of chances. Goalscorers included Marley, Zaccy and Frankie today. POTW went to Hugo who showed excellent game understanding and positional sense to cover the ground going forward and back.

Austin impressed in goal for the U10s Golds today. He made many exceptional saves to win him POTW. Well done also to Jacob for a fantastic shift in midfield. Learning points today include defending as a team, including making sure our passing and moving is accurate and effective.

Sunday Night, Under the Lights

The U14s had a great experience on Sunday night as they competed against Hurdsfield in the Macclesfield FC Stadium. The team battled fantastic and came away with a great performance.

A great night for all players and coaches on and off the pitch.

The U14s continued their positive start to 2023, With only 11 players against a strong Hurdsfield team they did themselves proud. Dominating the second half but sadly couldn't find a breakthrough.

MOTM went to Tom in nets for a great performance of saves and good distribution.

Another super win for the on-form gold squad. 5 different goalscorers ensured their victory, along with a strong defensive display from start to finish. Aryan grabbed his first goal which, combined with his constant effort in a number of positions, earned him the Golds' POTW!

A fantastic result for the under 10 maroon squad, as they were rolling in the goals in their game. Passing and energy were both excellent in a dominant display. Marley and Zaccy both had hat tricks. An impressive display of trickery earned Frankie the POTW. Well done Maroons!
