Most gut wrenching Football losses
Honorable mention. The Chad Morris era
All of 2018 and especially the 45-19 loss to WKU ( 2019-2020)
5. Toledo 16-12 ( 2015-2016) How the fuck do you lose to Toledo. Experienced team coming off momentum from the year before.
And it was hopeless from then on out. Ark clawed back and the best kicker in Ark history doinked a kick that goes in on any college field but the game was played at AT&T stadium where the goalpost are more narrow. Going 7-6 that year after going 9-4 the year before.
5. While there has been no success running the ball I’m glad to see they have not abandoned it. Running the ball for less than 3.5 ypc is not ideal but it’s better than throwing the ball 50 times. Even though it hasn’t been shown yet there’s talent in the RB room.
Early season thoughts.
1. Worst thing Silverfield has done in his time at Arkansas so far is not keeping Mateos.
2. Kj is the better quarterback and is a Sec quarterback when confident and has momentum. Not great but good enough. However the right tackle spot
4. Not all depth is good depth. I get trying to stay fresh but there are guys on the defensive side getting snaps that aren’t SEC talent and don’t play with their hair on fire to make up for it.
