Here is why: If the ECB buys Italian bonds (as it does) the new debt will be added to Italy's national deficit/debt. Ergo, once the fiscal rules are re-energised, huge austerity in Italy. If the ECB issues bonds, the new debt will be the ECB's, not Italy's => No new austerity

1. There is enough money to pay for a just transition.
2. Many jobs are non-essential.
3. We can come together and take swift action in times of crisis.
