@TheDebbieMia@mafalicious Wow; this is huge! It looks like they're pretty sure -- I've known people who suffered this awful loss and I remember well the fear when my own babies were little. I hope this proves to solve the problem! Thanks for sharing this good news this morning!!
@blondeorthodoxy Colly birds is an old, archaic term meaning black birds. Here's a very interesting little read on it, including the fact that there wasn't a partridge originally! It was "a branch from a juniper tree"! https://t.co/itA0nxvnYx
@JannaCalifornia@MugsysRapSheet@blondeorthodoxy They used to bob the tails of the horses so they wouldn't get caught in the machinery of the sleigh/wagon/carriage. (Also because they looked nicer when they were bobbed.)
@mafalicious I believe they were trying to be sure they had the truth before reporting. (What a novel concept!!) They actually reported Officer Sicknick's death before he died, then rescinded it, then had to report it again. Enough rumor-mongering. Give us FACTS.
@melissaembrype1@NBCNews@Morning_Joe I believe he used the account of another person to speak once or twice. I'm sure Twitter will have a handle on that quickly.
@EdwardNorton BRAVO!! Where are the other Republican politicians -- why are they silent? I hope their constituents are ashamed of them and vote them straight out at the next opportunity. CLEARLY these pols do not understand what America is all about!!
@MittRomney So what are you going to DO about it? Why is the GOP silent? Where is your backbone? I don't know what's wrong with you people. I will NEVER vote for a Republican again. I don't want to enable a single one of you.
@dan_aykroyd Hey Mr. Aykroyd, I just saw you on Seth Meyers' show! I'm about to put my 2001 Mercury Grand Marquis up for sale! 90,000 miles, good condition. It was my dad's, then I inherited it. Interested?
(It sure would've tickled Dad if you bought it!)
She has been a customer for many years and has spent a lot of money every season, never having a problem before this. You would lose a good customer for a $20 item? She paid $80 for something she doesn't even have.
@BlairCatalog My 92-yr-old mother bought a $20 item which she returned; it was lost in the mail. When called, she explained. She was told not to worry, but you have badgered her & charged her penalties till she gave you $80. You should be ashamed.
@mafalicious@ArdenFitzroy People have a hard time with the hurts they can't see. If she were physically bruised and bleeding in front of them, there would generally be more compassion, but her wounds are not visible to the eyes of others, so they don't believe they are real. But they are SO real.
