Recently read this book by @wbrownstone in my search for memoirs by inspirational women without kids & want to pass it on:
https://t.co/e9LtdHmU2i - likeable and open raconteur who upped sticks & dropped everything to build dry stone walls; made me want to do that too #goodreads
Great to see awesome Jody Day in Italian media! But I wish Republica would stop tagging their CNBC pieces with 'figli' (children) and/or 'maternitร ' (argh!) only, so you get all the mamma & baby posts if you click on them. Italian needs new words for #childless#CNBC#childfree !
@changedittobeth Her Channel swim is fascinating. And really want her to do Everest memoir. I wouldn't get 3 metres across Channel! I think you should do it though ... Only joking (??๐ค๐ค๐ค)
https://t.co/1TKHfOndzu - In which a slob with a rubbish job reads Jessica Hepburn's very good book 21 Miles, about swimming the English Channel instead of continuing with #IVF .... #childless#childfree#infertility
@funsizeAllie@ChildlessWeek The day bothers me cos my mum died in her 30s, not cos I don't have kids. Maybe wd have bothered me differently if she hadn't died. I cope by scoffing & being very RUDE to people who mention it, & VIOLENTLY deleting all the emails I get about it #childless#childfree#infertility
@mariellaf1 Late to the party here but: aaargh! 'Trophy boyfriend', 'bucket list', 'adoption', 'count your blessings', 'check out my documentary'... That's some first-class empathy right there!๐ #childless#CNBC#teambibi
It's time we confront the cultural fiction that women are most, and best, fulfilled by becoming mothers...
Why does motherhood still feel compulsory? I wrote about it for Vogue:

My tiny contribution to #WorldChildlessWeek. I hope this & all the other incredible contributions I've read will lead to more empathy & understanding of people who happen to be #childless
Please do RT if it resonates.

Today is We Are Worthy as part of #worldchildlessweek. Earlier I was walking in the fells enjoying the views & sunshine. Yes I'd have loved to share it with my lost children but I was able to enjoy it for me & to accept I matter & deserve good experiences despite not being a dad
