Some perspective from someone who was in the industry:

1. Friday wedding. Saturday is what pays the bills.
2. "Partial refund" on a rebooked date?

For those specific reasons, and those alone, I'm against them. The loss of revenue is hard. A full refund would be losing out on $20k-$30k, but you gotta bite the bullet in this scenario. The credits are great, yes.. but you're telling me if an even more expensive event scheduled for November 20th, you'd still not give them the full $16k? Ridiculous.
