The play "Hiroshima", a tribute to the victims of the first atomic bomb, with music and singing by Yoko Ono, opened in New York City this week.
One tearful Japanese survivor of the attack, who attended the premiere, called the play, quote, "the most horrifying experience of my life."
With this being the end of Hockey Night in Canada on CBC it only makes sense to post this. If you were a 90s kid like me, this is what you saw every Saturday night. The music, the intros, were as iconic as the games themselves. A very sad day.

While I’m being told that the Bears announcement on Hammond is “real”,
i.e. not a leverage play, a league source told me that the Bears leaving the state is not a done deal. Per source, Indiana is in the lead right now, but “Illinois can still get back in the race,” granted the state has a lot of ground to make up after not passing legislation that would have insured the Bears property tax certainty.
