Also got some awesome 3D printed PiCon OpenFIRE light guns to use with emulators. The gun holsters for the desk are work in progress (using a pair of Sinden light gun holsters)
Looking to get an OLED monitor for the 2nd monitor arm, for my main PC.
Cleared my messy desk to make it an actual space I can game and work on again.
New Dual Monitor Arm, Dell Ultrasharp 2007FPB 4:3 monitor for retro gaming on my new Commodore 64 Ultimate's, Retro Games A500 Mini, Retro Games The Spectrum and MiSTer Pi.
@PixelCNinja I spent hours frying bad guys until they set on fire with the taser lol ๐ฅ Thinking about it now, Syphon Filter made me a bit unhinged ๐
@tomwarren Feels like I picked a perfect time to get back into retro gaming, with my old consoles, emulators and the MiSTer Pi. I'm spending way less and having more fun right now.
Modern gaming seems to be imploding, thanks to all the crazy price hikes, lay off's and studio closures.
@GAMERTAGVR Sucks no VR version. This sent me down the rabbit hole of Gun4IR / OpenFIRE & 3D printed light guns for using on emulators for PC & MiSTer. Managed to get hold of some PiCon guns with arcade recoil & LCD screens for ammo counts etc off eBay, pretty sweet.
@TheGameVerse Still disappointed they didn't do ghost pirates at the end. The other games had some supernatural element and 4 set up ghost pirates perfectly but never went there. Hell even the multiplayer mode had ghost pirates.
@MichaelPHuber Watched MKII last night and had a blast, such a fun time and exactly what I wanted from a MK movie. Karl Urban is great as JC and Kano once again stealing every scene he's in.
@thekappaconvict@GAMERTAGVR@Survios To be fair I played it on PSVR2 and it was in pretty good shape from day one and the updates made it even better. I heard the Quest version was in worse shape though but I never played that version.
@thekappaconvict@GAMERTAGVR@Survios I finished it twice. Sure there were some issues with the Aliens and how they spawned at launch but many of the issues were fixed and it made the game even more enjoyable, the game was far from bad at launch but after the fixes it was actually very good.
@thekappaconvict@GAMERTAGVR@Survios Alien Rouge Incision was actually good, not at all poorly made and it also has flat versions available too and the studio is still in trouble......
The games industry is just a mess right now, thanks to greedy publishers chasing all the money and out of control budgets.
@CharlesHawn66 It's amazing to have Commodore back and actually making new versions of their classic computers, instead of wasting away in obscurity. I love the C64 Ultimate, it's a fantastic bit of new retro tech.
