@JasperzIsHere@SCOOPYBANOOPI Tomodachi Life isn't based on Tamagotchis, actually! Tomodachi is just the Japanese word for "friend." Tamagotchis were named after the words "tamago" + "uotchi" (egg + watch).
I have to put my cat Suki down tommorow if she even survives until tommorow, please look at my precious baby, she deserves for more people to see her before she passes
Again, not a huge fan of posting here, however, I did just unfollow ~200 people, so if you're one of them and think it was a mistake, let me know. I don't think anyone cares much about this website anymore though😅
If you're reading this and want to take it as a sign to leave twitter, I encourage you to take it up. It's not healthy that I'm still here, it's probably not healthy that you're still here. I can't promise this will be my last post, but I hope it does some good. 7/7
But even better than anger, the most powerful thing that you can do in the face of oppression is to be happy. You can live your life in a way that tells the people who would rather see you suffer that you will succeed. I know that's hard to do right now, but it's so important. 6/
Worse, the algorithm is incentivized to show you things that make you angry. Anger is one of our most powerful emotions, and websites like Twitter know that by maximizing anger, you stay. I'm proof of that. Anger can be a powerful tool of resistance, don't let them take it. 5/
I keep finding myself back here. I keep saying I'll log out on this account and not let the feed overtake me but I keep letting myself fall in. It's really unhealthy. For my future self, or anyone else reading this, here's some important things to remember. 1/
The internet pushes people's opinions further extreme, and encourage them to make what they vocalize even more extreme than that. You are seeing the worst of the worst of that, flanderizations of flanderizations. 4/
The vast majority of people want nothing more than to live their lives the way they see fit, and for everyone else to be allowed to do the same, whatever that looks like for them. It's easy to forget that right now, but I still believe it to be true. 3/
Twitter is not the world. It is a very specific kind of person who posts enough on Twitter to get picked up by the algorithm. They are not representative of the rest of us. Do not judge humanity off of what a bunch of Internet posters say and think. 2/
