@kerrakm @DavidRae20 That’s certainly a significant benefit of digital pathology. We do expect it to improve recruitment and retention. The ability for people to work remotely should allow us to draw more effectively on scare constant resource.
Absolutely delighted to announce that NHS Ayrshire and Arran are Scotland’s first health board to sign up for the full rollout of Digital Pathology! Rollout planning has now begun.
Other boards in Scotland are in an advanced stage of pilot and we expect at least one other board to commit to full rollout within weeks. Watch this space.
