@DigibodyR A first draft doesn’t have to be perfect, it’s mostly a way to get all your ideas out on paper to be organized later. It’s just word vomit. Word vomit also reminds me of this scene from Mean Girls which is a great movie.

@DigibodyR I find it very hard to write early drafts, because when I am "writing" I change things so quickly I'd have to pause to let my hand catch up with my brain. As a result, most of my essays are fleshed out in my head before they ever hit the paper.

@DigibodyR Writing narrative nonfiction has really proved to me how few details I truly remember. It's hard to write a story that the reader can 'see' when I myself cannot truly visualise the scene. i.e. I know I was wearing tennis shoes, but what color? Who knows!

In Sociology, we learned about an stereotypes and self fulfilling prophecies. During an experiment, men were shown an image of who they believed they were speaking to on the phone, and based on the attractiveness, had different opinions of the same voice and words. @DigibodyR
