I was thinking to myself the other day.

I worked every day during the last two summers on my business, yet I never saw any success until now.

And now I understand that my only mistake was that I kept giving up.

I'd work hard for a month, then I'd get a job and would completely forget about the work I had done.

The momentum would fall off, and I'd be back to 0.

And consequently, I wasted all of that time.

I could've used it to make memories that would be with me till the end, but I wasted them for nothing.

That's the only thing you need to be on the lookout for.

Once you start, don't stop moving forward, or else all of that progress and all of that time will be wasted and useless.

Even failing is still considered moving forward. You simply have to continue following the same positive routine next day.

I’m convinced LinkedIn is a fake app that does nothing.

Everyone there is unemployed. They all have skills listed that make them look like top tier employees, but in reality they spend their days on Netflix and videogames.

Never run ads if you don't have a lot of money.

You can't expect to dominate the US market for your service by spending 15 dollars a day.

You'll get absolutely crusheddddddddd.

This was the biggest mistake I made in the beginning.

Spent all of my money on ads and got super pissed when I got no results.

The BARE MINIMUM if you want good results is 1k a month.

Your habits are the only thing separating you from your first client.

Having habits is like riding a bike at the highest possible gear.

You start off really slow and pushing yourself to the absolute max.

Everything feels too difficult. You just want to open Instagram once more, but you don't.

After a week of this, your legs start to free up. Riding that bike becomes easier, but still difficult.

After two weeks of following the same routine, you get into a momentum.

Pedaling the bike becomes natural. No difficulty. Just a straight road ahead.

Then you reach hills you need to overcome to progress, and if you stop pedaling the bike when things get hard, when you're out of breath, you'll never be able to pedal again.

That's why habits are so important.

No matter how bad or good your day is, you need to keep doing the same exact things over and over again.

That's the only way you can successfully get by when the problems come.

Volume is the most important factor when running ads.

Every beginner thinks it's all about what categories you select and what age range you choose.

All of that takes less than 10 minutes, and it barely does anything for you.

The most important thing is DATA.

You need to give Meta enough ads so that it can actually find your ideal audience.

Once you see what works for you and what doesn't, you can double down on that type of ad until further notice.

It's never been easier to make money from ads.

Had a client.

35 years of age.

Sounded like the type of dickhead back in high school who would talk bad about EVERYONE behind their backs.

He wanted to put the payment in an escrow for the first month, which I didn't really like.

Knew it probably wasn't going to end well, but I really wanted the $1500 monthly ipayment at that time.

Anyway, I started optimizing his GMB profile. I created service pages on his website.

I start doing some citation work, and I get a notification from the escrow platform.

The dickhead had sent a fake contract to the escrow, saying that I broke the contract agreement, and he wanted a refund.

The dumb indian 20 year old fell for the trick and gave him his money back.

I called him, and he started talking like he didn't even know who I was.

The pettiness in me couldn't allow that to happen.

I went to his GMB profile and I removed every single information he had, besides the profile itself.

Went to his website and did the same thing with what he had given me access to.

I'm not proud of this, but that motherfucker got what was coming to him

Meta ads are a very good way to figure out your target audience.

Yes, it will cost some money, but you'll end up with data no Fiverr agent could've gotten.

On the plus side, you'll also learn a new skill and probably get a couple of sales.

Claude Cowork has turned my business from a one man team to a 4-man team.
