Wemby had a Knicks fan, his 10-year-old son and a friend kicked out of a $20,000 Ritz-Carlton penthouse… just because the guy calmly said “Good luck tonight big guy” in the hallway 😱
A kid got evicted before Game 4 of the NBA Finals because his dad wished the opponent luck. Is this acceptable behavior from a superstar? Or has Wemby become the biggest diva in the league? Drop your thoughts 👇 #WembySaysorry @franzboogie@mikal_bridges

🚨🏀 Wemby KICKS FANS OUT for “Good Luck” comment.
Phil Godlewski stayed with his son and friend in a penthouse before the NBA Finals game.
His friend encountered Spurs star Wemby walking out the door, telling him “Good Luck tonight big guy”.
Wemby went downstairs and got the group immediately KICKED OUT the hotel.
What do you think about this behavior, and is it acceptable?

A Knicks fan brought his 9 and 11-year-old sons to the NBA Finals. They stayed in the penthouse right next to Wembanyama. One friend calmly said “Good luck tonight big guy” in the hallway… and the entire family got evicted before Game 4 😱
The kids who used to love Wemby now refuse to wear his jersey. Is this really okay?

I used to love how close basketball felt to the fans… but stories like this? 😐 It starts to feel like there’s a wall now. Like regular people don’t belong in the same spaces anymore 🚧 And that’s not what sports are supposed to be about #WembySaySorry@alanrog3
Let’s be real for a second… 🤨 His entire career is powered by fans. People buying tickets 🎟, paying for League Pass 📺, rocking his jersey 👕 with pride… that’s where the money comes from 💰 And then you hear a story like THIS?? 😶🌫️ That disconnect feels crazy. You can’t benefit from fans and then treat one like they don’t matter #WembySaySorry @alanrog3
This is straight disrespect, plain and simple 🤨❌ Fans support you, spend money, build your platform 📈 And this is how one of them gets treated? That’s backwards. You can’t benefit from people and then push them aside like they don’t matter 💸👕 #WembySaySorry@alanrog3
@spurstopia There was this incident where his friend helped him take a urine test right after the game, and then later told his girlfriend about it at a party
Just saw this news and I’m actually shocked.
A fan got kicked out of a Finals penthouse over a harmless “good luck” comment? And Wemby’s behind it?
That’s not competitive, that’s just weak.
If this is real, it’s embarrassing for Wemby and the whole league.
Gonna be calling this out nonstop.

This is crazy if even half of it is true
A father says he paid $20K for a Ritz-Carlton penthouse in NYC to take his 11-year-old son to Game 4 of the NBA Finals, then his friend sees @Wemby in the hallway and says, “good luck tonight, big guy.” That was it.
Ten minutes later, hotel management knocks on the door and tells the whole family to leave because they were supposedly “harassing and waiting for players.” The father asks them to check the cameras, they tell him there are no cameras on that floor, then he looks up and sees one right above them.
His son was a Wemby fan. Had the jersey, signed gear, everything. The father says the kid burned it when they got home.
NY Post already covered this and Ritz-Carlton/Wemby’s side still haven’t answered. NBA players should pay attention here because getting a family with kids kicked out over “good luck” is ridiculous.

you can be dominant on the court 🏀 and still move wrong off it… and this feels like one of those moments 😶🌫️ like there was no real issue, no drama, just someone existing nearby… and it still escalated. that’s the kinda thing that slowly changes how people see you 👀 gotta be smarter than that #WembySaySorry @alanrog3
