🇨🇦 How many Canadians interested in a money, saving electric vehicle, realize the dramatic, and likely temporary, price cut on the Tesla model 3 premium.
In preparation for Chinese brands, arriving in the market, they have reduced the price more than most thought possible. Though this vehicle does not qualify for the federal $5000 rebate, Tesla’s price cut more than offsets that.
About $39k plus $2.5k in shipping.
There will be a limited quantity available at this price as our federal government limits vehicles imported from China to about 3% of the market. They also recently indicated they may arbitrarily limit Tesla’s share of this, in what was announced as a first come first serve quota system, as the Chinese are moving or cautiously than originally expected
If there continues to be a delay in Chinese brands coming into the market, due to political uncertainty, as to what the Carney government may do to appease Trump, this price will likely go up.
A Tesla model three is a highly efficient vehicle and based on my overnight electricity rates you would be paying the equivalent of about $.20 a liter. That adds up 2000s in savings pretty quick. You also save all the expensive routine maintenance. A gas car requires.
I encourage Canadians to share a repost this information with their followers.
I really don’t think there is currently a better EV deal out there. Canadians are now getting this vehicle for less than Americans. I don’t think that’s sustainable long-term.
Happy Victoria day weekend!
@ryangerritsen He was at Bell Canada before he took off to the US to go to Google. Looks like a case of Rules for thee and not for me - liberals need to go!
Nice try on the fear mongering. Ice vehicles will always cost more. I have an 18 year Volvo bought it for $60k in 2008. Love it. Still works great. But the reality, in 18 years I have spent ~ $60k on gasoline alone before repairs, oil change and maintenance. Battery change doesn’t scare me and will still cost less than ice. My Tesla has a 8 year battery warranty and plenty of real life examples of teslas on their Original battery over 200,000 miles. Go fish 🐠
Trump’s move on Iran may reveal something much bigger.
A strategy to dismantle globalization and replace it with a system of sovereign nations.

🚨 NEW: While every talking head screams "Iraq 2.0," @barbaramboyd explains what they'll NEVER tell you — 118 years of British financial control over Iran, and why Trump just struck the last piece on the Empire's chessboard.
FSD temporarily shifted into reverse for roughly three seconds, starting at 00:17:63 but never actually moved backward, positioning itself to yield if the oncoming semi failed to clear the right turn.
