Hear hear @SANS10400 We are so ready for the #millionmicrogrids push. We have a chance here fellow South Africans. We’ve got the resources; both renewable and intellectual to meet and surpass the best decentralised, modern and secure energy infrastructures out there. Who’s in?

Who is to blame for global warming (if countries fulfill their Paris goals)?
-> #China, #Russia and #Canada top of the list... most of #Africa, even #India doing well/ok. #ParisAgreement #climatechange @ClimateCollege @meinshausen https://t.co/sNzuOA2HtD

News from Bushveld Energy, a South African utility scale energy storage provider (#vanadium flow): "Flagship 1440 MWh battery commissioned for ESKOM." They might not have the energy density, but for static applications, we 🧡 flow batteries.

Patriotism is the exact opposite of nationalism. Nationalism is a betrayal of patriotism. By putting our own interests first, with no regard for others, we erase the very thing that a nation holds dearest, and the thing that keeps it alive: its moral values.

We thought about metal 3D printing for development a while back. Could not come up with a solid use case and delivery mechanism. Perhaps this is a start: https://t.co/664FViD7bt @TEngelmeier @Supermaximus #AdditiveManufacturing #3Dprinting #development #coolideas #innovation
