I think there is also the argument that systems they have improved on have been completely cut from the games. Secret bases, beauty contests, battle frontier, game corner, sky battles, etc.

Lack of VA has never once crossed my mind in these pokemon games as an issue.

Why waste money and time? Id rather them fix actual issues then waste it on a VA feature.
