@JamesBirt @JosephMooneyMP Exactly. Not a single person I have explained the situation to here in Finland can understand how a government can act this way. Especially in a place like NZ.
@shiftygeek@nealejones I don't think any kiwi's abroad want NZ to 'open up' as a free for all. Most will happily MIQ. By "moving on" I meant that there are countries in this world who have learnt to deal with covid in a reasonable manner while still letting their citizens back in. Not asking for much.
@BeeFaerie There are many Kiwi's who have the right to return to NZ and simply can't because of your inability to set appropriate policies. You and your fellow MPs are denying us a fundamental right of being NZ citizens. You have had a year to improve the system and done very little
@BeeFaerie@nzherald People aren't criticizing the way MIQ is run as a "complete failure", please stop deflecting and patting yourself on the back. There are kiwi's whose plans to move to NZ were interupted by covid and have waited 14 months to get home. A system is made up of multiple parts.
@clarkrob You are right. But consultants need to be wary of going to clients with predefined solutions (largely based on software) and consulting on how to integrate it into their business. Should first understand the problem, then tailor the solution. The client may already have BIM tools
@TheBIMViking@clarkrob Spot on. If we just called it Information Management it would help to get more clients interested. The B brings the misunderstanding that all the information is managed through one model. Many clients still use BIM and Revit interchangeably as that is what they have been taught.
