@dzastism Yeah Tarada or whatever his name is blocked me for asking what does these kinda identity politics have to do with gaming. I take it as insecurity. I have zero plans on joining any of these guys ever.
Yeah because he knows the answer. 🤣
Also while I block people that say rude stuff It takes a special kinda insecurity and sensitivity to get that upset over that kinda response.
I guess he's gay. Good for him. Just not sure why it needs a corporate holiday other then to push ideological beliefs that are not popular for social reasons.
To answer your question Ivy because apparently this weirdo can't handle the truth so he just blocks lmao yes and no.
CIG creators of the game hes referencing have deleted men's mental health month threads while pushing pride month in official CIG created threads.
Either way pride month to a lot of gamers is considered tied to identity politics at least in the US and generally doesn't belong in games. That's why it's getting ratio'ed because every year CIG makes these posts like Bungie ex and people generally don't want it tied to their favorite entertainment or thing they have dropped over 1k USD into.
Christmas is commercialized and takes place in games because games are a product linked to sales and the fact it's commercialized it's popular to see it celebrated in games for monetary reasons.
Fathers day it depends but nobody links that to identity politics same as mothers day. I also don't believe CIG as a company acknowledges Fathers day like they go out of their way to talk about pride month.
This pattern is typical of big studios that seem to pander to identity politics.
@bkp_sgng@ThePermaFr0st Yep same. I responded on spectrum about it. So we'll see after the maintenance but I agree the fix was fantasy as it usually is with this company.
@cmd_Terada What does this have to do with gaming other then dive into identity politics. A lot of games are struggling because of this shit right now.
@SamuelEtienne Yeah just keep in mind visually it looks polished. Game play feature and code wise it is highly alpha. It's intentionally deceiving. It ropes people into hoping it plays as good as it looks before it even looks dated.
So I was thinking which is never good.
Ya know how NASA says they have to cut their live stream due to a plasma bubble causing interference? With that in mind you ever notice SpaceX never has to cut their live stream mid re-entry despite the same situation and plasma bubble that all space craft encounter?
I asked this question on 2 popular youtube channels that cover space launches via a comment.
Both channels hid my question in less then 24hr.
What is that about lmao!
It's like you ignored what I just presented you. That shuttle is quite close to the size of ship. How do you go from complete coms black out to 720p video live feeds just because a vechical is maybe 30% larger. This isn't convincing and I know you know that and that is why you don't want to directly attack my argument and instead straw man.
@aqueous_stars I dealt with the rude ones man that's why you don't see it. Using critical thinking and not eating andy slop science isn't ignorant. I've considered every reply and I've seen holes in them. Thanks for stopping by tho!
@aqueous_stars So I'm just supposed to except whatever someone tells me and not bother to challenge it if I don't think it satisfies the question? Also that's false, there have been some toxic people that have stopped by to drop some vomit.
Your shuttle there pretty much explains everything. That vehicle is nearly the size of "ship" and still experienced "coms" black out. The size of the capsules are considerable smaller then the shuttles indicating the size isn't actually that big of a factor considering the enormous speeds. The scale of the ship at this speed is asymptotically irrelevant.
I don't see the size of the vehicle in comparison to the speeds we are talking to have that much of a difference and I'm pretty sure repeat comments are repeat because nobody bothers to read other comments. They just drop their opinion and piss off into the internet as per usual on social media...
The issue nobody is talking about is the PR aspect of this topic. Dragon "crew" are people. "Ship" missions are not crewed. Perhaps it's not exactly a technology issue and rather a PR issue which is the actual reason posted my open question to twitter. To see if anyone else is noticing scientific hand waving to cover other narratives like PR.
