Daily reading of the Bible improves your spiritual health, your mental health, and your bodily health.
The word of God is life.
It has the power to energise your spirit, make you intelligent, and repair your body.
Hi! I'm Fiyin, a Bible teacher. I want to make the most honest, practical, & scriptural responses to your questions and struggles as a Christian (from the basic to the most unhinged, everything is on the table). Please take one minute of your day to ask in the comment section, and retweet so this reaches others. Thank you.
One of the saddest realizations I’ve had recently is that social media algorithms on nearly every major platform are deliberately designed to stir sexual perversions.
If you’re observant, you’ll notice this. You could create a fresh account without following anyone or subscribing to any content, and yet the suggestions that show up will reveal the intent.
It is crazy to me the extent the devil will go to destroy lives. And it’s not just about immorality itself, but about how these things become snares for the soul. It is already overwhelming enough to resist temptation in our daily environment. Having it constantly served to you online is a different kind of demonic. The strategy is to numb the soul with false pleasures until there is no appetite left for God.
My heart aches especially for the younger ones who are exposed to this far too early. How exactly are they to escape when the entire internet culture is pushing them toward ungodliness? The flesh can only resist so much. When it is constantly excited, even the will to fight sin gets worn down.
Now, more than ever, we must be firmer and louder about purity. The digital age has normalized sins that Paul warned would keep many out of the kingdom of God. We must cry out for help, pray for grace, and seek power from on high to remain faithful to the purity of our calling.
Save me from my wandering heart Jesus, you are my true joy. Save me from these inferior passions competing to dominate my heart, they will destroy my soul. It is you I want my Lord and my God. Have mercy on me.
@DrfashMD@GallantDaletian The Barretta would be my pick. Easier to manipulate for close quarters fighting. That second rifle looks heavy with a long barrel, except I’m trying to take down a gorilla.
Dear Christian,
If you’ve ever felt tired, frustrated, angry at God during the waiting season and even doubted him. Let me show you what may have interrupted your waiting without you knowing it through the lenses of the Law, the Prophet and Jesus himself.
