@itsSh0la@american_gucci1 Pls dont pardon him cos if you do, they will not pay you a kobo and donโt be emotional about his family. Let him go to jail or refund you, period
@JubrilAjamaku@itsSh0la Settling out of court is not a good choice cos those criminals will not pay. I refused to settle of court from a criminal who stole my phones, thou his family pleaded to pay 1.3 for my phones and other valuables stolen from me. They paid me under court order
When I was in js3, a girl father in our class died during the first term, third term we started seeing bruises all of her body, we asked her, she said it was from her dad brother
She said anytime the man came around, he always beat her badly.
One day, all of us got angry.
It was a Friday after school, and we decided to follow her home.
Funny enough, immediately we got to their gate, we saw the man standing outside.
The moment he saw her with us, he got angry and slapped her instantly.
Everything happened so fast.
One boy in my class immediately used his head to hit the man in the face ๐ญ
Before we knew it, all of us just rushed him. Everybody started punching and beating him.
Then fear entered all of us ๐ญ
We ran.
And yes, we were private school children ๐ญ Back then, attending private school felt like the biggest thing ever, so imagine us behaving like area boys for one afternoon.
On Monday morning, the man came to the school with bruises everywhere.
The school invited all our parents.
Omo, I brought my mom because if my dad had come, Iโm sure he would have finished me ๐ญ
During the meeting, one father suddenly stood up and said:
โI will pray for all these children.โ
Everybody became quiet.
Then the man himself asked to speak to us privately.
He looked at all of us and said:
โWhat you children did was the bravest thing I have ever seen. Thank you for protecting your classmate.โ
Till today, I still think about that day.
Sometimes children may not fully understand life, but they understand when someone is being hurt.
