Uhuru Kenyatta had the power to light up Homa Bay, eliminate the dusty streets and dignify the livelihoods of itinerant traders, but he chose to enjoy our money on things made from the hands of man. We have forgiven him for treating us like children of a lesser God.
Kina Otero na ule daktari halfwit wako Kilgoris koito ya their “dad’s” daughter, ama wanakulwa na hii baridi na vumbi ya mjini like the rest of us street urchins?
"Here is brijin Aaron Cheruyot speaking in Kericho. He states, "There are a few people in Kericho who are hiding and saying wantam." He tells the governor that some individuals, not even from Kericho and joking too much, are claiming wantam. He warns that those people will be sent amway to stay with their grandmothers. He also added, "kuna mtu atatolewa chini ya kitanda ya nyanya yake akiwa amekatalia hapo," meaning someone will be taken out from under their grandmother's bed.
DCI cannot understand the Kalenjin language Aron Cheruyot is speaking, but can understand the Kikuyu language that Kaguchia is speaking".
If Winnie Odinga had listened to the people and followed Sifuna as they went around the country, I think Winnie could be the most popular woman in Kenya now. He could easily win the Kisumu senatorial seat, but he gave in to Ruto and Oburu’s demands, and their mother was given a useless job.
Ruto and his kleptocratic Rift Valley gang are too incompetent to realise that the conversation with Sifuna isn't really about chickens and high-rise buildings.
The chickens represent the problems of Kenyans. The gorofas represent Ruto's unworkable, lofty and extravagant promises and fake solutions, revolving around shiny concrete things.
Sifuna is telling them that they are out of touch with the people. That their solutions are merely tender-based commercial ventures to benefit just a few in their circles, rather than citizen-focused development.
But Mr Maria Antoinette and his gang are saying "why can't Sifuna construct a ladder to the 12th floor for his chickens" because they don't get it. They think this is just about Luhya chickens.
And if they don't get it, they don't deserve an extra day in power.
