Not all workers wear suits.
Not all sit in air-conditioned offices.
But their contribution keeps this country moving.
Today, on Workers’ Day, I’m thinking about the silent workforce.
The security guard who stays awake through the night so others feel safe…
The cleaner who resumes before everyone else arrives.
The dispatch rider navigating traffic and fuel costs to meet deadlines.
The artisan whose skill keeps homes, offices, and businesses running.
They may not always be visible.
They may not always be celebrated.
“It was easier to tour America than Africa. I was stopped at the border and prevented from performing in Kenya because I was Nigerian. There’s friction stopping us [Africa] from uniting and developing.”

🚨 MY TOUGHEST AFCON EVER!!!
I was already contemplating going to this year's AFCON because of the financial burden as December is the peak period with many budgets for brands and individuals.
My UK tour and World Cup playoffs in Morocco (self-sponsored) dived into my savings, along with the Mauritius trip (brand-sponsored) as I was exhausted both financially and mentally from the trips.
But it would be crim!nal not to acknowledge the brands (Bet9ja, Gala, Bitnob, NalaMoney, and Betwinner) and the donations from friends and Ogas that provided financial encouragement and support mentally.
From surviving under 8 degrees in Fez to a long trip to Marrakech, hustling back to Rabat, rushing to Casablanca, and then finally covering the final in Rabat - covering my fourth AFCON is one for the books, and I will never take for granted the support on social media.
Without you guys, there is no Pooja. 🙏🏻
