এতদিন রত্না দেবনাথ সম্পর্কে কিছু মন্তব্য করার প্রবৃত্তি হয় নি। যেই মা তার মৃত মেয়েকেও রাজনীতির মন্চে টেনে আনতে পিছপা হন না নিজের লোভ চরিতার্থ করতে, তার সম্পর্কে আর কিই বা বলব। তবে উনি রাজ্যের তিনবারের মুখ্যমন্ত্রী একজন মহিলা সম্পর্কে যা মন্তব্য করেছেন তারপর শুধু বলব ওনার এই কথার জবাব পানিহাটির মানুষ ওনাকে কড়ায় গন্ডায় বোঝাবে আর একজন যদি ঘেউ ঘেউ করে আমাদের নিজেদের তার পর্যায়ে নামিয়ে আনার দরকার নেই। তাই কোনোরকম কটূক্তি থেকে বিরত থাকাই ভাল। তবে তার এই বক্তব্য MCC এর পরিপন্হী, @ECISVEEP এর খতিয়ে দেখা উচিত।
