Electricity has been restored to a portion of campus. Most of the campus, however, is still out. We will provide a timeline for our return to campus once electricity is fully restored and we can fully assess damages.

🔹To clarify, the University plans to return to campus for classes once power is restored to New Orleans and the city has authorized re-entry.

🔹Our remaining students have been transported safely to Mobile, AL.

🔹Classes will resume virtually on September 13.

🔹We should all be prepared to be away from New Orleans for at least two weeks.
