White people are annoying, so vote Democrat!
Our ancestors were enslaved, and that still makes us mad, so vote Democrat!
The police, rich people, and happy families make us mad too. Let’s create more gays and LGBT people, forgive the killing of babies, and let everyone steal as many groceries as they want!
We hate Christ, so let’s bring in more Muslims. We have no idea what Muslims actually believe, but who cares?
Let’s flood the streets with drugs and get happy!
Who cares if the world collapses and China takes control? Little old me got mad at Trump! I do not understand anything complicated, but Trump makes me mad! Elon Musk makes me mad too!
If society falls apart and everyone becomes poor, we can laugh and say, “Serves them right!”
So vote Democrat!
Do not think!
Eat fentanyl, become rainbow happy, and vote Democrat while eight billion people around the world laugh at us, mock us, and look down on us!
Life is about acting like an idiot and feeling good right now.
Who cares what happens to the world?
If you knew you were 100 nos away from the life you want,
every rejection would feel like progress.
The no isn’t the end.
It’s a stamp on the way there.
@GavinNewsom Aren’t you the same guy who signed a bill into law that criminalizes and penalizes those who expose fraud in your state?
You have no room to talk.
$XRP RUMOR CHECK
Apparently whales bought $2.2 billion in $XRP while whales were also dumping 1.6 billion $XRP into Binance. Both stories are making the rounds right now, and neither one proves what the headline says.
The $2.2 billion whale buy story needs to slow down too. The number comes from large wallet balances increasing by about 1.54 billion $XRP over 96 hours. That doesn’t mean we have 1.54 billion $XRP in confirmed buys. Wallets move between balance groups. Exchanges move funds around. Tokens move between addresses without anybody buying anything. There’s no transaction list attached to this claim showing $2.2 billion in actual purchases.
Then you have the other side of it. CryptoQuant is reporting about 1.6 billion $XRP in large wallet inflows to Binance over the last 30 days, the highest level since March. That doesn’t prove 1.6 billion $XRP was dumped either. Sending $XRP to an exchange and selling $XRP are two different things. So depending on which headline you click, whales are apparently buying billions and dumping billions at the same time. This is exactly how bullshit gets built around real on chain data.
There is something new with BatchV1_1. RippleX engineering head Ayo Akinyele says asset managers and other commercial projects are preparing to use Batch, and some projects are already being built with it in mind. We still don’t know who those asset managers are, and nobody is using Batch on mainnet yet. The amendment crossed 80% validator support Sept. 15 and is sitting around 30 of 35 validators. If support holds for the full 14 days, it’s projected to activate around Sept. 29. After that, we can start talking about who is actually using it.
Evernorth also has a new filing getting ahead of itself online. The Sept. 17 filing covers $30 million in convertible notes, and the proceeds can be used to acquire $XRP and support other XRP ecosystem activity. The part getting skipped is that the financing is tied to the Armada merger closing. The shareholder vote is scheduled for Sept. 30. There isn’t a documented $30 million $XRP purchase sitting on the ledger right now.
That’s really where I’d leave today’s Rumor Check. The whale numbers don’t prove buys or dumps, Batch has actual commercial interest being discussed before activation, and Evernorth has financing on paper that could eventually become $XRP purchases. Watch what happens next.
I’m ridiculously excited about what I’m building with my 𝕏 NFT subscriptions.
For $5 a month, subscribers get one exclusive NFT every week. It gives people an easy way to get into NFTs, learn how utilities work, collect them, trade them, and actually understand what ownership can unlock.
THE 52 is the first collection. It’s a full-year series with one new collectible card dropping every week for 52 weeks. By the time the series is complete, subscribers who were there early could be sitting on some extremely limited cards.
There are so many directions NFTs can go. Access, rewards, giveaways, voting, early testing, memberships, gated content, holder perks, and more.
Only one additional mint from each weekly release will be dropped into the MONOLITH NFT Market with a $100 floor, paid in $XRP.
That means subscriber copies stay extremely limited, and the only public copy starts at the $XRP equivalent of $100. It gives the collection a clear scarcity structure while still giving someone outside the subscription a chance to get in.
🚨HUGE: The NYSE is working to bring $40 TRILLION in US stocks and ETFs ONCHAIN.
The exchange has spent a year testing Avalanche and is building a tokenized securities platform with onchain settlement and stablecoin-based funding.
Tokenized shareholders will keep full dividend and voting rights with instant settlement and fractional shares.
"Avalanche checks a lot of those boxes for us," ICE's Head of Strategic Initiatives said, per The Block.
