F1 needs V10’s again. They want to change engine emissions of 22 cars to be 50% battery power, run on “sustainable” fuel. Yet every F1 driver, their teams, and sometimes their cars take private jets to every race.

Between all 22 cars they burn roughly 4000-4500 gallons of fuel throughout a weekend. (200 gallons per car/weekend)

Average PJ burns 400 gallons an hour. 10 Jets x 3 hour flight x 400 gal/hr = 120,000 gallons each way.

Not to mention the logistics of hospitality suites and so on.

They don’t actually care about emissions.
