@DerSchramm22 @historyrock_ Excellent response. Good to see someone who is not just caught up in the technical ability of a guitarist. Sure that matters, but the ability to create the perfect melody and groove is something he does better than most.
@historyrock_ Depends how you define "top". If you're talking technical ability then no. If you're talking about an influential guitarist who can put a memorable guitar melody which compliments the music/song perfectly then not many are better than him.
@thegirlatthegig Yeah i seen that. Have any of them done more than 1 album other than Simon? I lost track of them after the album with Cocaine Cowboys on it.
@TheRyanHamilton@GreenDay Insomniac is always my go to album. Nimrod is great as well in fact i dont't think they had a bad album in the 90s. Seen them on the Warning tour back in 99/2000 they were so good back then.
@Onyxx9999@WarrenMoney Yep you're right. Kirk Hammett wrote Enter Sandman. Say what you like about the black album or anything they've done since but if it wasnt for that song and that album they would not be filling stadiums all these years later.
@GingerWildheart No. I'm especially critical of my own voice. When i've tried listening to stuff i've recorded its like my vocals are 20X louder than everything else, i cringe then turn it off.
