Update: not a similar experience, the same exact one! Entirely lost my ticket, they denied me a ticket change, not even for a fee. I have to buy an entire new flight, this time I’ll make sure it’s on a different airline. @Avianca

Once again they do not disappoint when it comes to horrible customer service, a year later. Similar experience. It’s a shame they take advantage of ppl in Latin America despite being one of the largest and most powerful airlines in LATAM @Avianca

Every time I fly with @Avianca it’s always such a bad bad terrible experience. Today they cancelled my flight after telling me they couldn’t cancel it nor refund it. Stuck at the airport like all my usual memories when traveling with them.

@Avianca outdated customer service. I had to leave the airport without being given absolutely any other options for the next flight or information, other than a shrug from your front desk employees who you should take the time to train.

@Avianca you should also be explicit about your boarding policies at the time of purchase, as much as you are explicit about your restrictions and overly priced baggage fees.

Was told that in the entire airport there was no one available or willing to help me contact customer service. I was given a customer service number in a piece of paper that didn’t work, the crew unwilling to even offer their own phones to help. @Avianca

Once again @Avianca offers the worst airline customer service in Latin America. Another bad experience with Avianca in the airport of CDMX. I was meet with their usual crew of employees unwilling to help at the counter.
