Dharmendra Pradhan must 'RESIGN'.
The recent circular issued by the Directorate of School Education directing all schools across Nagaland to observe International Day of Yoga raises important questions about the spirit of India's federal structure and respect for the unique identity of Nagaland.
Nagaland is a state with a distinct history, culture, and overwhelmingly Christian population. While yoga as a physical exercise may be viewed differently by different people, the Government must remain sensitive to the religious sentiments and beliefs of all communities. Programmes promoted by the Centre should be based on voluntary participation, not administrative pressure or compulsory compliance.
The Constitution of India guarantees freedom of religion and respects the diversity of its people. True secularism means that the State remains neutral and does not appear to favour any particular cultural or ideological practice. Equally important is the principle of cooperative federalism, where states are given the space to decide what is appropriate for their local context.
We urge the Government to respect the sentiments of the people of Nagaland and ensure that educational institutions remain spaces of learning free from unnecessary ideological influence. National integration is strengthened not by uniformity, but by respecting India's rich diversity and the constitutional rights of every citizen.

🚨 CLAIMS DON'T FILL POTHOLES. RESULTS DO. 🚨
While BJP leaders celebrate "unprecedented development," the people of Nagaland continue to face incomplete railway projects, neglected infrastructure, and roads riddled with potholes.
📍 Dimapur Railway Station remains without the promised modernization.
📍 Roads across Dimapur, Niuland and other districts continue to deteriorate.
📍 Public funds are being spent, but where are the visible results?
Development cannot be measured by speeches, announcements, and statistics alone. It must be reflected in completed projects, quality infrastructure, and improved lives of the people.

It has come to the notice of the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) that certain reports, including statements attributed to the NPF, have suggested a “silence” on the part of the two sitting Members of Parliament from Nagaland regarding the delimitation issue.
On behalf of the NPCC Social Media Chairman, we wish to clarify that Shri S. Supongmeren Jamir, Honourable MP (Lok Sabha) from Nagaland, has already raised the matter of delimitation and the State’s underrepresentation in Parliament on 17th April 2026 at the discussion hour, including through appropriate interventions in the House.
The claim that both MPs have remained silent is factually incorrect and does a disservice to the efforts being made to safeguard the democratic rights of the Naga people. Shri Jamir continues to actively pursue fair and equitable representation for Nagaland in Parliament.
We urge all parties to verify facts before making public statements and to work collectively in the interest of the State.
