@GavelGamer I have this similar feeling to some of the songs on kh2 actually. I guess I never thought the difficulty of bringing that old synth back and trying giving it a modern touch to it.

I was so dissapointed when I heard the remastered version of the track. It's not a bad song, but for me personally, I'm not a fan of the piano of the song and the drums that made the song so special. Maybe I'm biased towards ps2 sound font drums, but at least the violin is nice.

Besaid (FFX) is my favorite game track ever.

It's subtly complex. It lulls you into a daze with constants, but varies them in subtle ways (strings, drums, synth) to breathe new life.

It is a song that can never be truly remade. Like the ocean, it just undulates. Forever.
