@Yunghonch I always removed the slice of "cheese" before heating so it wouldn't be so messy. Never had a problem with a burned or hard spot.
Sometimes I would put the "cheese" back on it after heating, sometimes I wouldn't.
@eevblog That seems to be standard operating procedure for a lot of subscription services. A friend got satellite radio at about half price for years by "cancelling" at the end of the annual subscription.
@eevblog MANY years ago I was driving into the sun on an Interstate highway (USA). Flipped down the sun visor and rather large spider dropped into my lap. I managed to not crash the car, but I may have shrieked like a little girl.
@eevblog Here in semi-rural Arkansas (USA) if the power is off for more than a couple minutes then it's going to be off for about 3 hours. Had one power outage where even the cell towers were down for 15 mins. I was genuinely concerned.
@EricDziadzio GPU mining has not been profitable since September, 2022 when Ethereum switched to Proof of Stake. Actual BTC mining is performed on ASICs mostly from TSMC. To my knowledge, Nvidia has never made a device to mine BTC directly.
