Everything that hands and minds have shaped —
Nations, faiths, ideas, doctrines —
Has its term, like flowers in a vase.
Time quietly erases the picture.

Not of that Reality we speak,
Boundless, bottomless, without beginning.
But of what we ourselves have framed
In the borders of “mine” and “other.”

Passions, grievances, love, disappointments —
Mere shadows dancing on the walls.
Life is not the sum of events and dates.
It gazes through us, unchanging.

As the sky remains the sky,
Though clouds replace one another,
So the essence does not tremble at the turns —
It simply is. Always. Everywhere.

Within it whirl worlds and ages,
Equal the saint and the betrayer,
Electrons and stars — its children.
It is the silence in which everything sounds.

All departs in order to return.
Do not cling to the form that melts.
If you meet yourself without a mask —
You will feel: you are eternity.

Love, when you truly long for it
with all your heart, sincere and fierce —
first give it freely from yourself,
and watch the flame ignite and pierce.

It lives already deep inside,
it smoulders hot and wild and true,
and even in the darkest year
it burns as brightly through and through.

When hurricanes are raging hard
and not a ray of sun remains,
love still is shining past the clouds —
it never fades, it never wanes.

And if you want to drink that light
and break free from the storm’s dark hold,
you must rise up above the gale —
but only courage makes you bold.

Love… I see it differently:
not just a thread that binds two hearts.
The whole wide world was woven from it,
and only love can mend the parts.

I'm honestly shocked when a person is going through a really hard and dark period in life. Maybe it happened out of stupidity, maybe for other reasons — and they're desperately looking for ways out, trying not to lose whatever little hope they still have left. And right then, people show up who want to take advantage of that moment, deceive them, or even worse — take the last thing they have.
Is this world really so rotten? I get that the saying “A sucker isn’t a mammoth — suckers will never go extinct” will always be true. But still… there must be some kind and decent people left who will help, if not with words, then with actions.
