#Thappad was - is & will remain an iconic film for a subtle representation of how liberating must it feel for a woman to defy patriarchy, conditioning, stand up for themselves & walk ahead- head held high.

They saw themselves in Amrita & if the film managed to give that impact to atleast one such victim it won imo. So no it wasn’t a dull concept but a progressive one- way beyond some people’s fragile comprehension!

So we are wired to always talk about what is lacking, but while we do that we forget to be grateful for our privileges. When we come across certain things,stories, and people and we feel heard & seen. We yell in our heads I relate to you!

There will always be absence of few things and happiness or life will never be perfect. But you shouldn't be so hung up on absolute happiness that you only complaint and not be grateful.
