The Incident:
Head Constable Kothandapani from Chennai's Otteri Police Station is fighting for his daughter.

She was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome at age 3 and received treatment at government hospital ICH Egmore from 2016.

In October 2021, after an epilepsy attack, alleged multiple misdiagnoses and wrong medicines caused severe complications, coma, and gangrene.

Her right foot was amputated below the knee.
For years since 2021 till 2026, this dedicated police officer has been protesting at the Secretariat with his daughter, demanding accountability from the doctors.
