There is a lot going on today. Atlanta School Board of Education Swearing-In Ceremony and the 1st Day of legislative session with the Georgia General Assembly.
Beautiful mayoral and city council inaugurations in the city of East Point and South Fulton today. Glad I could attend both. Two fantastic cities that are Atlanta’s neighbors in Fulton County, now lead by two black women. Let’s get to work!
Atlanta, 2026 is going to be a very crucial year for us. TAD’s, MARTA, The Beltline, Development, Green spaces, infrastructure, technology/Ai, and so much more but we have to ensure what the political establishment wants and what the people want align as much as possible.
Just left the Midfulton Democrats Holiday party. What a great event filled with civic leaders, elected officials, and political candidates. Cheers to a stronger 2026 🥂

Atlanta/Fulton County, we have to talk about what’s going on with the Fulton County Jail a.k.a. Rice Street. It is an absolute mess and no one is taking action.
