@GiannisWorld@OppPackGiannis@LegionHoops Not necessarily true, the record isn’t spotless, but establishes that the NBA is comfortably ahead of most international teams. It also important to note that these were mostly meaningless exhibition games, so probably not playoff level effort.

Not only is Stew being a hypoctit with their backend development scraping other devs data, but multiple Hi-Rez releases have attempted to steal market share from Valve. Smite targeted DOTA players. Paladins appealed to the TF2 faithful. Rogue Company incorporated CSGO mechanics. Hi-Rez has been the ones observing trends and capitalizing on others proven success.
I understand if it gives you in particular an ick, but a large age gap when the younger is in their late twenties or older doesn’t seem that outlandish to me. As long as both parties are mature, consenting adults, should it matter to outsiders as long as the relationship is healthy for both individuals?
@bluejayonx@JaharaJayde They have said they are keeping Dillamond, and they will be a goat, so I have fairly high hopes they will stick close to the stage show. Schwartz was in the NPR tiny desk concert, so he is still close to the shows leadership.
@TheOtherFrost The update show made up my mind. The free Divine Legacy skin that is cross gen is a recolor of an existing skin. If it takes 2 months to port a skin from UE3 to UE5, why port an unpopular model and recolor it? Hi-Rez can shove their legacy gems. Transfer my skins.
@kittychipz Any genre you are specifically looking for?
Life of Pi by Yann Martell
Wicked by Gregory Maguire
Somewhere a Band is Playing by Ray Bradbury
@FancyOrb_@ErrnieGerrn Rust has to be one of the only games where you can access DLC items without owning the DLC. I’m not even referring to taxing/taking them from other players, you can join any number of modded servers and spawn them in for yourself. The Rust community is just cheap.
@TheOtherFrost Bradbury’s short stories are by far some of his best works. He really had a knack for world crafting, even in his short works. Somewhere a Band is Playing is still one of my favorite pieces of Americana literature.
@theslyfoxninja@80sENCLAVE How exactly has gameplay and design changed? I can understand arguing the switch from top down to third person, but other than that the core mechanics are relatively untouched. Player driven narrative where choices have impacts on the outcome, the classic “Bethesda” RPG model.
@theslyfoxninja@80sENCLAVE Not sure when you joined the series, but most people would agree that “Fallout” is a full package; design, gameplay, and lore. The same way Shelter is just a mobile game with a Fallout skin, 76 is very much a cheap MMO masquerading as a Fallout RPG.
@masterbread13 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre Other than picking sides in the BoS quest line which is purely cosmetic, which choice actually has any impact on the story? Every “choice” leads to the exact same end state for the storyline.
@masterbread13 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre *settlers not responders
me, even though I would have blown Paige away the first time I met him in previous games. The enclave is still your only option to launch nukes. The raiders and settlers are permanent factions no matter if your character is lawful good or chaotic evil.
@masterbread13 @BobbleheadVb @76Theatre No, really. How many choices have notable impacts on the game world? Even the ones that do have choices like BOS only impact your instance. Once you step outside the instanced interior everything is the same as Joe Shmo next to you. I’m stuck with responders talking down to 1/2
@76Theatre I think this is the least “RPG” Fallout has ever been. Your actions have no consequences, every NPC in marked essential for the entire story, and there are exactly 0 player choices that actually matter.
Sure it’s a Fallout sandbox, but it definitely isn’t a Fallout RPG.
@Ah___Puch Isn’t Ra considered a burst mage who does damage from distance as a glass canon.
Bake is a guardian who will be able to max out prots and dive back lines.
Ra’s skill floor is low, but requires game sense and positioning to use effectively.
Bake’s hardest mechanic is holding M1
@CallMeMast Not to mention that he is a guardian. Hi-Rez can call him a “guardian solo laner” all they want, in lower MMR lobbies he is going to be picked as support and throw.
After release he will be irrelevant because he will never be able to exist in a balanced state across all ranks.
@CallMeMast This shouldn’t be controversial, Bake is absolutely going to be the new skill floor(not saying he can’t have a high ceiling). He’s build defense and hold M1 levels of easy.
I wonder if his art design being so good has anything to do with people defending the lazy mechanics.
