🚨 EXCL: Arsenal exploring move to sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid. #AFC interest early stage + clubs not yet in talks but idea approved at all levels. Much rests on contract process as no breakthrough yet & #RMFC do not want free exit @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/qYdS5vlfE6
🚨 Real Madrid expected to sign Yan Diomande from RB Leipzig. 1st bid rejected ~10 days ago, 2nd (€100m fixed, €120m package) set to be rejected but agreement likely soon. #PSG out; 19yo returns to #RBLeipzig on Mon with wish to join #RMFC@TheAthleticFC https://t.co/xc6EPzjCdr
Arsenal have internally discussed the signing of Vini Jnr for some time now. The feasibility is there to do a deal. Some highly influential people are involved in the matter. Very very early days but Arsenal are very serious if given the chance to sign him.

🚨 Arsenal have held discussions over midfielders Alex Scott & Ayyoub Bouaddi, as well as winger Bradley Barcola. Their main target has been Julian Alvarez & they are set to step up interest in Bruno Guimarães. Arsenal also remain in talks to sign Ezri Konsa. 🕵️♂️ [@garyjacob]
🚨 Arsenal have made fresh contact over Nico Williams (24), TEAMtalk understands, with the player once again firmly back on their shortlist. Andrea Berta has held discussions around Williams as Arsenal have begun exploring whether a deal is realistic this summer.
TEAMtalk understands that his contract includes a release clause worth around £77m. Spanish sources have indicated the Premier League would appeal to Williams, with Arsenal viewed as an attractive destination should he decide to leave Athletic Bilbao. 🕵️♂️🇪🇸 [@GraemeBailey]
🚨 @David_Ornstein: “Bradley Barcola has been mentioned, but we don’t know of active movements from Arsenal on Barcola at this moment in time. PSG’s standpoint is that they do NOT want to sell him, they would like to renew his contract.”
“Even if they are to sell him, the price in their mind would be higher - considerably, I think - than Elliot Anderson’s move to Manchester City. This is a player who has won Champions Leagues, you have got to pay the market rate.”
“He does have two years to go on his contract, he doesn’t appear to be signing, he appears to be open to moving. It seems, for multiple reasons, it’s one that might take some time to develop, whether that’s staying or going.” 🕵️♂️🇫🇷 [@TheAthleticFC]
- Arsenal maintain strong interest in Konsa. Lacroix interest cooled a while back after I reported it.
- The club also held interest in Jacobo Ramon but Como have no intention to sell given their UCL exploits
- Newcastle remain firm on their valuation of Bruno (80-85m minimum)
- Martinelli is for sale.
- Arsenal were told 80-100m gets it done for Morgan during May-June time. This was relayed to Berta via agents. Anderson deal changed Villa’s valuation completely. Thereafter, Arsenal verbally offered 80m. They were willing to go to 100m max but the valuation had changed because the Anderson and Tonali deals had dictated the market by this point. Morgan and his family were fully set on Arsenal. Face to face meeting with Mikel now reported via major journalists too.
🚨 Arsenal are increasingly confident of signing Morgan Rogers after making a major breakthrough in talks with the player’s representatives. TEAMtalk understands Arsenal are preparing an opening bid, with their first formal approach to Aston Villa expected within days.
While Aston Villa are adamant Rogers is NOT for sale, it is understood only an offer beyond a club-record transfer fee - eclipsing the £100m Manchester City paid for Jack Grealish in 2021 - would force them to seriously consider negotiations.
Sources close to the situation have told TEAMtalk that Rogers wants to move to Arsenal & believes the move represents the ideal next step in his career as he looks to establish himself among the Premier League’s elite. 🕵️♂️🏴 [@GraemeBailey]
🚨 Thomas Tuchel contract included clause to discuss parting if England fell at WC group, R32 or R16 (bar Mexico). Surpassed so no activation or automatic release clauses in deal ➕ Guardiola verbal agreement with FA in 2024 but changed mind @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/ooTMlDK8wc
Arsenal and Aston Villa are engaging in club to club talks for the transfer of Morgan Rogers. Senior members from both clubs are in direct contact. Personal terms are no issue.
