I won't lie—I tried to watch it after seeing so many people talking about it on TikTok and other social media platforms. I struggled to move past two minutes, and the reason was simple: the sexual scenes.
One thing many believers fail to understand is that you cannot be praying against lust, pornography, masturbation, and sexual addiction while feeding your mind with content that awakens the very desires you are asking God to help you overcome.
Some people are wondering why they keep falling into temptation. The answer is simple: what you entertain eventually influences you.
If you are trying to stop masturbating and watching pornography, but your daily entertainment is filled with sexual scenes, nudity, adultery, and immorality, your battle will become much harder.
As Christians, we must learn to guard our hearts and our eyes.
The Bible says:
"Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it."
What enters your eyes eventually enters your mind, and what enters your mind eventually affects your actions.
What surprises me is seeing some Christian women judging all men based on a movie.
A movie is not reality.
Not every man is a polygamist.
Not every husband is a cheat.
Not every marriage is destined to fail.
Not every man is secretly living a double life.
As the world is talking about Polygamist, can we also talk about Monogamist?
Can we talk about the thousands of faithful husbands who wake up every morning and choose their wives?
Can we talk about men who have opportunities to cheat but refuse because they honor God and respect their marriage vows?
Can we talk about men who stay committed through financial struggles, sickness, misunderstandings, and difficult seasons?
Can we talk about men who are raising their children, providing for their families, and remaining faithful when nobody is applauding them?
Because they exist.
It is possible for a man to be married to one woman.
It is possible for a man not to commit adultery.
It is possible for a man to reject a woman who is trying to seduce him.
It is possible for a man to remain loyal even when temptation is available.
It is possible for a man to honor his vows until death.
The problem with our generation is that movies, social media, and celebrity culture have become our teachers.
People are forming opinions about marriage from Netflix instead of Scripture.
People are learning relationships from movies instead of God's Word.
People are allowing entertainment to define what they believe about men, women, marriage, and family.
As believers, our standard is not movies.
Our standard is not TikTok.
Our standard is not trends.
Our standard is not celebrity opinions.
Our standard is the Word of God.
The Bible is our blueprint for marriage.
The Bible teaches faithfulness.
The Bible teaches commitment.
The Bible teaches self-control.
The Bible teaches covenant.
The Bible teaches that marriage is honorable and should be protected.
Before I watch any movie, I ask myself one question:
"What is the end result of this?"
Will it build my faith?
Will it strengthen my values?
Will it bring me closer to God?
Will it help me become a better husband, wife, father, mother, or believer?
Not everything that is popular is profitable.
Not everything that is trending is beneficial.
And not everything that everyone is watching should be watched by a child of God.
Let's be careful what we consume.
Let's stop allowing movies to become our theology.
Let's stop judging an entire gender because of a script written for entertainment.
And let's remember that while the world may celebrate confusion, God's design for marriage has not changed.
The Bible remains our standard.

In my first semester of 200 Level Dentistry, some of our seniors from CMDA came to give us an orientation on medical school, academics, and how to handle our studies.
Most of the speakers were distinction students.
One had a distinction in Anatomy.
Another had distinctions in Physiology and Biochemistry.
One after another, they stood before us and gave advice on how to succeed in medical school. They told us what worked for them. Read hard. Read at night. Eat before reading. Stay consistent. Follow a timetable. They shared the things they believed had contributed to their distinctions and academic success.
The advice was good.
But after the orientation, a question kept bothering me.
How many students in that 400 Level class actually got distinctions in their last MB examination?
The answer was simple.
Not up to ten.
Then I asked another question.
How many students were in the class?
Over four hundred.
And that made me wonder.
Why are only ten people allowed to speak about the experience of medical school?
Why do we keep selecting only the outliers to tell the story?
Why don't we hear from the majority?
Because no matter what happens, if only ten out of four hundred students are graduating with distinctions, then their experience is not the typical medical school experience. Their experience is valid, but it is not the only experience.
That, to me, is one of the fundamental problems with many medical school orientations.
Orientations should not consist only of distinction students speaking.
There should be distinction students.
There should also be average students who passed.
Because that is what most medical students will become.
There should be students who received resits.
Because many medical students will receive resits at some point.
There should be students who repeated a class or stepped down.
Because some medical students will experience that reality too.
The truth is simple.
The smallest percentage of students will graduate with distinctions.
A much larger percentage will graduate with passes.
Others will experience resits.
Others will repeat classes.
Others will struggle through medical school before eventually succeeding.
Yet these are often the stories we never hear.
The events of resits.
The events of repeats.
The events of academic setbacks.
These are the experiences that quietly shape a huge number of medical students, yet they are rarely discussed openly.
Students walk into these situations completely unprepared because nobody told them what those experiences looked like.
The people who have lived through those experiences are usually not invited to speak.
The younger students never get to learn from them.
So many people end up facing those challenges alone.
These are the stories in medical school that we do not hear.
Then we return to the distinction students and begin collecting formulas.
Don't eat before reading.
Read at night.
Take supplements.
Take energy drinks.
Use this method.
Use that method.
But many students in medical school come from completely different backgrounds.
For you to be an outlier, you are already an extraordinary case.
Some students do not have enough money to eat comfortably.
Some have to choose between feeding and transportation.
Some leave home early in the morning and spend the entire day in classes before returning late in the evening.
Some cannot afford textbooks and rely entirely on PDFs.
Some do not have stable electricity and study with candles.
Some do not have access to quiet environments.
Some are dealing with financial, family, and personal problems that many people around them never see.
Following another person's formula when your life circumstances are completely different can become a problem.
Many junior medical students spend too much time looking for formulas.
They are looking for the exact routine.
The exact timetable.
The exact study method.
The exact habit.
The exact secret.
Understand this early in medical school:
The examinations do not reward your knowledge.
They reward your ability to retrieve knowledge.
That distinction sounds small, but it changes everything.
Medical school is not interested in whether you can eventually arrive at the answer after thinking about it for five minutes. Medical school rewards whether you can produce that answer immediately, under pressure, when the clock is running.
Look at how examinations are structured.
You are given an MCQ question and expected to identify the correct answer almost immediately.
You sit for a viva and a lecturer asks you a question. Every second you spend hesitating, rambling, or trying to remember is a second in which your performance is dropping.
You walk into a spotter examination and see a structure, a specimen, a diagram, or a slide. You are given 60 to 90 seconds to identify it and write what is required. The examiner does not want to know that you could eventually figure it out after ten minutes. They expect you to see it, recognize it instantly, and respond.
That is the reality of medical school.
The examinations are not designed to reward possession of knowledge.
They are designed to reward rapid retrieval of knowledge.
This is where many students make a critical mistake.
They know a lot.
In fact, some students know far more than their grades suggest.
The problem is that they cannot produce that knowledge quickly under pressure.
Ask them a question and they begin to stare at the ceiling.
They start searching through their memory.
They start circling around the answer.
Eventually, they may arrive at it.
But that delay is exactly what hurts them in examinations.
The goal is not simply to know.
The goal is to know so well that retrieval becomes automatic.
If you need thirty seconds of mental searching before arriving at a basic answer, then you have not yet mastered the information at the level medical school demands.
Now, before we even begin discussing study methods, you need to understand the situation you are dealing with.
The first reality is volume.
Medical school is enormous.
Anatomy alone is massive.
In fact, one thing I have learned is that you should be suspicious of every summary and every compressed text.
Because every summary is incomplete.
Every truly detailed anatomy textbook is huge.
The reason is simple: the subject itself is huge.
The same thing applies to physiology.
The same thing applies to biochemistry.
The volume is not an illusion. It is real.
The second reality is specificity.
Medical school expects precision.
You are not expected to know broad ideas alone.
You are expected to know specific structures, specific pathways, specific branches, specific enzymes, specific functions, specific exceptions, and specific relationships.
A vague understanding is rarely enough.
The third reality is depth.
You are expected to understand concepts deeply enough to explain them, discuss them, apply them clinically, and write about them in essays and professional examinations.
So when students ask me about study methods, I always feel the need to clarify something.
I talk about flashcards.
I talk about past questions.
I talk about mind maps.
I talk about AI.
I talk about audio overviews.
I talk about several tools.
But people often misunderstand what I mean.
They think success comes from using every technique available.
That is one of the fastest ways to fail.
The student trying to use ten different study systems at the same time is usually more scattered than the student using only three systems properly.
You do not need every technique.
You need a few techniques that solve the right problems.
That is the difference.
When you look carefully, medical school really demands four major things from you.
First, you must acquire knowledge.
Second, you must be able to recall that knowledge instantly under pressure.
Third, you must know specific details with precision.
Precious.
Astute
Servant leader
Teacher
Outstanding
Resilient

You need one calm, grounded conversation, not begging, not accusing, where you clearly say you love her and you’re committed, but you cannot live indefinitely in a marriage where intimacy is off the table and your needs are acknowledged but not acted on. Ask for effort, openness, and a realistic path forward, not perfection. If she won’t engage, then you still owe it to yourself to seek counselling on your own and protect your self-respect. This is not about forcing sex. It’s about refusing to slowly disappear inside a marriage that no one is tending.
Is she seeing someone else? Let me be very clear and logical here. No secrecy changes? No sudden phone guarding? No emotional coldness only toward you but energized elsewhere? No drastic change in routines or unexplained absences? If these signs are not present, then infidelity is not the most likely explanation.

Dear Young Nigerians,
One lesson from the 2023 elections, particularly in Lagos, should never be forgotten.
In the period following the presidential election and leading up to the governorship election, we witnessed a troubling shift in public discourse. Conversations that should have focused on competence, governance, development, and the future of our nation were gradually diverted towards tribal sentiments, ethnic divisions, and unnecessary suspicion among citizens.
Many sincere and well-meaning Nigerians participated in these conversations without realising that they were being drawn into narratives carefully designed by others.
Throughout history, whenever politicians find it difficult to compete on ideas, performance, character, or vision, some resort to exploiting the fault lines of ethnicity, religion, and identity. Their calculation is simple: a divided people are easier to manipulate than a united people.
Today, I see similar efforts emerging again, sometimes in more subtle and sophisticated ways. Narratives are planted, amplified, and circulated, often by individuals who genuinely believe they are defending a worthy cause, without recognizing the broader agenda behind such campaigns.
Let me state clearly that Pastor Enoch Adeboye remains one of the foremost fathers of faith in our nation. For decades, he has consistently preached the virtues of peace, prayer, love, reconciliation, and national unity. Even when faced with provocation, his response has always reflected humility, restraint, wisdom, and grace.
At 84 years of age, it would be unfair for young and able-bodied Nigerians to transfer to him responsibilities that properly belong to them. The task of building a better Nigeria rests primarily on the shoulders of the younger generation. It is their duty to lead the conversations, champion the reforms, and drive the positive change our nation urgently requires.
We must be careful not to become instruments in the hands of those who secretly nurture division while publicly preaching unity. In most cases, their target is not the individual being attacked; instead, it is the person who is attacking. Their real objective is to weaken the bonds that hold us together as one people and one nation.
I therefore urge all young Nigerians: do not allow anyone to recruit you into hatred. Do not allow anyone to weaponise your ethnicity, your faith, or your admiration for respected leaders.
Question every narrative. Verify every claim. Follow the facts. Resist manipulation.
The Nigeria of our dreams can only be built by citizens who refuse to be divided, who choose unity over hatred, and who place our collective future above narrow interests.

It is with deep humility that I accept the role of presidential candidate for our party.
I express my profound gratitude to the leaders of our party. His Excellency Seriake Dickson, the National Chairman, National Secretary and the National Working Committee, NWC members and members of our relentless supporters, and the Nigerian populace who have steadfastly kept the spirit of hope alive. I commend those who have made the journey from every region of our nation to convene here in Abuja.
I wish to assert unequivocally: a New Nigeria is Possible. This conviction has united us; it must serve as our compass on the challenging road ahead and sustain us through all trials we may face. This pivotal moment transcends the individual ambitions of Peter Obi; it concerns the essence of our nation and the future of our children. It is about rekindling hope for millions who have faced adversity yet remain committed to Nigeria.
Today, our nation finds itself at a crucial juncture, enveloped in uncertainty. Families are anxious about their safety; parents are concerned for their children's futures; and talented youth increasingly question their prospects in their homeland.
Businesses are struggling, communities are suffering, and an alarming number of citizens have lost faith in the very concept of governance. Yet, I stand before you filled with optimism and strong faith in the resilience of our people, for I firmly believe that a New Nigeria is possible.
UNITY
To realise this New Nigeria, we must first mend the foundational elements essential for the success of any nation.
Nigeria cannot advance while fragmented by ethnic, religious, regional, or narrow political divides. We may communicate in different languages and practise diverse faiths, but we share a singular destiny under one flag. Our diversity should not be a source of division; rather, it is among our greatest strengths.
We should build bridges where others erect barriers, replace mistrust with confidence, division with understanding, and resentment with a collective purpose. A united Nigeria is indispensable. As Will Durant wisely pointed out, "A great civilisation is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within." We must never self-destruct. We must heal, unify, and progress together.
INSECURITY
In terms of security, the situation in Nigeria has considerably worsened. The global terrorism impact assessments ranked Nigeria as the 8th most affected nation in 2022, 6th in 2024, and 4th in 2026.
Yet, for many years, Nigeria garnered global recognition as a reliable contributor to peacekeeping, regional stabilisation, and conflict resolution. Our troops have not only displayed bravery but have also shown professionalism, discipline, resilience, and empathy in the most challenging operational contexts. Our officers and personnel have successfully commanded multiple international forthe ces, safeguarded vulnerable civilian populations, monitored ceasefires, reinstated constitutional order, and contributed to rebuilding efforts.
Nigeria became one of the leading contributors of troops from Africa to UN peacekeeping missions and earned widespread admiration for operational effectiveness and leadership in various countries, including Rwanda, Sudan, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Mali, Western Sahara, Congo, Lebanon, Cambodia, Haiti, and Kuwait. At one pointin a Nigeria, Lt. General Isaac Obiakor (rtd) even led global peacekeeping initiatives.
We must address insecurity with resolve and urgency, for no nation can thrive while its citizens live in trepidation. The primary responsibility of the government is to ensure the safeguarding of lives and property.
