🇮🇳 Minamarg Check Post Incident | Ladakh Sector
A video from the Minamarg (Minimarg) check post has circulated showing a tourist arguing with security personnel over a temporary road restriction.
The Indian Army, in coordination with local police and civil administration, implements such measures as a routine and essential part of anti-terrorism and security operations in this highly sensitive high-altitude border region near the LoC.
Road closures, cordons, and regulated movement are standard when:
• Intelligence or operational requirements demand a search/cordon to neutralise potential threats
• Weather, landslides, or convoy movements require safety clearances
• The safety of residents, tourists, and troops must be prioritised
These are not arbitrary or “anti-tourist.” They exist precisely so that civilians, including tourists can travel safely in an area that has historically faced infiltration and terror risks.
Compromising a security protocol for individual convenience could endanger dozens of lives.
To the individual in the video and similar voices:
Being “Gen Z” (or any generation) is not a qualification, a badge of entitlement, or a licence to disregard security protocols. National security does not pause for slogans, tax receipts, or generational self-identification.
Comparing legitimate operational restrictions to “locking Kashmiris” is both factually misleading and disrespectful to the forces who protect every citizen, Kashmiri, tourist, or otherwise in this challenging terrain.
Threatening Parliament while creating a public confrontation at a sensitive post does not strengthen democracy; it risks operational security.
We urge all visitors and residents:
Support these measures. They are conducted for your safety and the nation’s security. Patience and cooperation save lives.
The Army and police work hand-in-hand daily so that tourism and normal life can continue in J&K and Ladakh.
Respect the uniform. Respect the protocol. Respect the reality of the frontier.

A rather annoying cartoon from a self- satisfied country of 5.6 million people with no historical or civilisational depth, or experience of handling complex and diverse societies or the depth of challenges that a country of 1.4 billion people faces.
Resorting to an offensive snake charmer stereotype of India, that has a racist overtone.
India does not need Norwegian oil. It has huge oil rich countries in its neighbourhood. Doesn’t need to charm them as India is a huge market, being the second largest importer of oil.
The cartoon reflects the shallowness of Norway’s journalism as this is the country’s largest newspaper.
Stop peddling cheap lies to the people of Andhra, you #justasking propagandist
The Women Reservation Bill was passed in 2023. Everyone knows that.
But here is the part your tiny brain deliberately hide. That law is sitting dead on paper.
Article 334A is clear. The 33% quota cannot start until a new census and delimitation are finished. It is written in black and white.
When you say..it can be passed even now, you are lying through your teeth. It cannot.
The 2023 law you wave like a flag requires the delimitation process. The same process you are now opposing. You cannot have it both ways propagandist.
That is why the government brought the Constitution Bill. It was the only way to activate the quota for the 2029 elections. You killed the amendment. Then you walked out and blamed the government.
Your fake tears about weakening the South are just as hollow.
The Delimitation Bill expands seats. It does not cut them. Andhra seats were set to rise from 25 to 38.
That is an increase. Not a decrease.
Your real fear is a census that finally reflects reality. You want to cling to frozen numbers from 1971.
forget about protecting self respect, you are scared of democracy.
The NDA made the law in 2023.
You blocked the path to make it real in 2026.
Next time you want to debate, bring facts. Not half truths garbage.
The Andhra voter understands the Constitution better than you think.
Jai Hind.
The West poured $50 billion into fast breeder nuclear reactors and abandoned every single one. India poured $900 million and just achieved criticality on the first commercially viable one outside Russia.
The US spent $15 billion. Gave up. Japan spent $12 billion. Their Monju prototype had one sodium fire in 1995 and never recovered. The UK spent $8 billion. Germany spent $6 billion. France, Italy, all walked away. Six of the richest nations on Earth concluded this technology was too hard and too expensive to pursue.
India started building in 2004 with an initial budget of $420 million. Twenty-two years, a dozen missed deadlines, and a cost doubling later, the Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor at Kalpakkam just sustained a controlled fission chain reaction. The reactor is now alive.
The reason India never quit is a constraint most people have never thought about. India has only 1-2% of the world's uranium reserves. For a country of 1.4 billion people trying to build energy independence, that's a death sentence if you're running conventional nuclear.
But India has 25% of the world's thorium. The single largest national reserve on Earth.
The problem: you can't just burn thorium the way you burn uranium. A physicist named Homi Bhabha designed a three-stage nuclear program in the 1950s specifically to solve this. Stage 1: burn natural uranium in heavy water reactors, collect plutonium as a byproduct. Stage 2: feed that plutonium into fast breeder reactors, where it breeds MORE plutonium AND converts thorium into fissile uranium-233. Stage 3: burn thorium directly at scale.
India just entered Stage 2. Seventy years after Bhabha drew it up on paper.
The math on the thorium endgame is wild. At current energy consumption rates, India's thorium reserves could power the country for over 700 years. Most nuclear nations are playing a uranium game with maybe 80-100 years of runway. India is playing a completely different game with a 7x longer fuel supply.
The West quit because uranium stayed cheap and sodium coolant is terrifying. It catches fire on contact with air. It explodes on contact with water. Russia's BN-600 had 27 sodium leaks and 14 sodium fires between 1980 and 1997. And Russia kept going anyway because Russia doesn't quit nuclear projects. India watched all of that and kept going too.
When you have 1% of the uranium but 25% of the thorium, the engineering difficulty stops being a reason to quit. It becomes the price of admission to a 700-year energy supply that nobody else can access.
Spain will be the first country in the European Union to launch Starlink Direct to Cell this year.

I just want a society where I can live in a city, walk down the street, be confident no one will attack me, see no homeless ‘camps,’ I can shop at businesses - and it all kind of works out.
Not hard. We’ve had it before.

Google is officially showing the Pixel 10 already. Assuming this isn't a 10 Pro, looks like 3 cameras on the base phone is the main thing that's new. Otherwise... same design 🤓
Historic and exemplary!

@RailMinIndia 22717 RJT SC SUP EXP is currently running late by 3.5 hours and instead of ensuring it catches up with its schedule, it's being stopped every 15min adding to the delay.. Started with a delay of 2.15 hrs at origin and after 5 scheduled stops already at 3.5 hrs delay!
My income. My house. My car, my business,. My other Assets etc. All this is safe, as long as my country is safe. Otherwise everything will go up in flames. Today two million Ukrainians are taking refuge in other countries leaving everything behind in the Russo-Ukraine war. They were lucky to have neighboring countries that gave them shelter. What will happen to us???. Where do you think we can go??? Pakistan on one side, Bangladesh on one side, Indian Ocean below, China above, countless traitors inside the country!!! Remember that there is no other country to give you asylum. So instead of cheap petrol and free ration, prefer a strong nation.
*An undeniable truth.*🙏
