We are honored to announce Robert W. Pearigen's installation as 18th Vice Chancellor at All Saints' Chapel, in Sewanee, TN on Oct. 19. This celebration united 60 delegates, University faculty, former vice-chancellors, and Sewanee's esteemed governing members.

The Rev. Adam Young has accepted a call to join the pastoral team at Cathedral Church of the Advent in the heart of downtown Birmingham, Alabama. He will serve as Canon Missioner, which is Episcopalian for outward facing Gospel witness to the community.

Today marks the conclusion of the 120-day period during which the Episcopal Church’s standing committees and bishops with jurisdiction were asked to consent to the election of the Rev. Charlie Holt as bishop coadjutor of our diocese.

Education for Ministry (EfM) is a unique four-year learning, discussion, and reflection program that invites participants into mentored small groups. In May, a few churches celebrated graduates from the program.

Last Saturday concluded the final class for the Bishop's Institute Foundations Course, an introductory curriculum that put participants on a path to lay ministry licensure. Bishop Howard presented certificates to those who participated in the nine-month course. Congratulations!
